Former England football striker Craig Bellamy has been officially appointed as the new Wales manager. Replacing Robert Page, who was sacked last month.

The Football Association of Wales has confirmed the appointment of Bellamy as the new manager after signing a four-year contract. That will keep him in charge of the Wales national team until 2028 UFABET 

Bellamy, who turns 45 on July 13 has played for Norwich, Newcastle, Celtic, Blackburn, Liverpool (twice), West Ham, Manchester City and most recently, Cardiff.

While for Wales, he scored 19 goals in 78 games between 1998 and 2014.Coach Bellamy’s achievements have never been fully in charge of a senior team. Previously, he managed Anderlecht’s U-21 team in 2019. Followed by being an assistant to Vincent Kompany in the senior team. But resigned in September 2021 due to health issues. After that, he returned to work again in the role of first-team coach at Burnley.

Bellamy’s first game in charge is a UEFA Nations League B clash against Turkey in Cardiff on September 6. Followed by an away game in Montenegro three days later.

This is Bellamy’s first full-time role as Wales manager having previously coached Anderlecht’s Under-21s and been an assistant to Vincent Kompany at Burnley.
