Orsic, 30, joined the Saints in the winter for £5.1m under manager Nathan Jones.
But he was limited to just six minutes in the Premier League as a substitute. And two games in the FA Cup and League Cup where he failed to score.
Six months after he signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Southampton, who finished 20th last season and relegation to the Championship. The club was willing to take a loss on him.
Turkey’s £3.5m offer includes bonuses. It was finally accepted after the previous bid was rejected.

Indeed, Orzic was hugely popular in Croatia, scoring 91 goals in 214 appearances in all competitions for Dinamo Zagreb before moving to the southern English club.
